March 31st was a special night for all of us, being that it was the Burning Peace 5th Anniversary Party. We had a blast! Zach & Morgan did a great job opening the night with a mix of covers and original material. Mike & Brian made their Walden's debut as a drum & bass duo. Second To Some played what everyone agreed was their best set ever! Seriously, those guys completely rocked the house.
Then we ran into some technical difficulties. :(
After solving PA issues, guitar issues, and overcoming vocal dehydration in the first 30 minutes,
Burning Peace went on to perform an (approx.) two hour set of original favorites for their friends, family and fans. Frankly, it was the best show we've played in at least a year, maybe more; it sure felt that way! Big thanks go to everyone who showed up and shared the evening with us (I've still got free DVD's left over for those who forgot to grab one), including some people I haven't seen in YEARS! Extra thanks to Christy & Citrine for doing the work of three with a smile (since Duncan was off doing some modeling gig), and extra big super thanks to Walden's owner Val for staying late and making the whole evening possible!
All in all, it was a great night! THANKS EVERYONE!
